About Us

Casa Sofia brings the warmth and flavor
of Latin America to San Francisco's
SoMa neighborhood — one block from
Oracle Park, a short walk from
downtown.

Under Chef Carlos Altamirano, the kitchen tells
the story of Peru through a menu rooted in
tradition and shaped by global Latin influences.
Ceviches brightened with aji and lime,
anticuchos kissed by live fire, lomo saltado wok-seared
at full heat, and a seafood tower stacked with the
morning's catch.

The bar pours a world of pisco, mezcal, and cachaça —
handcrafted cocktails that celebrate South America's
spirit, alongside a thoughtful wine list pulled by the glass
through Coravin.

From a four-course rehearsal dinner at the Chef's Table,
to a team's quarterly kickoff, to a full buyout for the
game's pregame, Casa Sofia is built to host a
celebration.

Our signature private dining room. A warm, lantern-lit
space for corporate dinners, family gatherings, and
celebrations that call for a room of your own. Fully
enclosed, with its own service team and audio-visual
capability on request.
